We invite you to a grassroots celebration of the terrain and people that make backcountry skiing, splitboarding and snowmobiling in and around Pemberton, BC, world-class.

Raven Fest is a weekend dedicated to learning, connecting, exploring and celebrating the backcountry surrounding Pemberton. It’s an event bringing together recreationalists, guides, athletes, outdoor brands and local mountain enthusiasts for two nights and one day of clinics, exhibits, films, silent auctions, product demos and live music.

It started with a legacy…

Raven Backcountry Festival was born out of a love for Pemberton’s incredible mountain scene. Neighbour to one of the greatest ski resorts in the world, Pemberton is often an overlooked destination; however, backcountry enthusiasts know exactly what’s hidden in our mountains.

The inaugural Raven Backcountry Festival paired a stacked roster of clinics with sold-out evening events, raising $16,000 for the Lisa Korthals Memorial Bursary for aspiring female guides in honour of the inspiring local. In 2027, we’re building on that legacy. Raven Fest is built for the community, with net proceeds returning to local non-profits, user groups and organisations supporting backcountry access, education and outdoor participation.

Speaker Series & Film Night

An evening at Big Sky Golf Club featuring backcountry stories, speakers, films and community gathering and connection.

Saturday
Backcountry Experiences & Festival Party

A day of backcountry clinics, avalanche education, ski touring, splitboarding, snowmobiling, demos and other activations, followed by an evening party at Big Sky Golf Club.
