Gordie Tentrees Live Acoustic Blues Folk Show
Gordie Tentrees Live Acoustic Blues Folk Show at the Pemberton Legion
The Pemberton Arts Council invites the community to an intimate solo acoustic evening with two-time award-winning storyteller and songwriter Gordie Tentrees.
The night will feature original songs, honest stories, and a relaxed listening experience celebrating Gordie's forthcoming album, Dandelion Blue, to be released this fall.
Fun Fact: Gordie used an original on-loan guitar of Gordon Lightfoot's to record some songs on his new acoustic blues album.
Gordie has engaging stories to tell and advocates for First Nations' communities. I've included links to a couple of his videos. Every Child won an International Acoustic Music Award, and Back at the Cabin is featured on his upcoming album. He's a talented, interesting man and is referred to as a Road Poet in part due to his extensive touring and storytelling.

Join us for the inaugural Walk for Wellness — a community hike through some of Pemberton's most stunning terrain, held alongside the Pemby Pounder on June 20, 2026 in support of the Pemberton Health Foundation.
Starting at Den Duyf Park, you'll make your way along the Mackenzie Basin FSR before climbing the stunning Happy Trail to the Waco aid station, where enthusiastic volunteers will be waiting with drinks to fuel your descent back down to the valley floor.
More than just a walk — it's a chance to move, connect, and support vital local healthcare, all while taking in the landscapes that make Pemberton special.
The Pemberton & District Health Care Foundation is a non-profit that advocates for and funds healthcare services, facilities, and equipment for the communities it serves. Right now, they're working in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health to raise funds for diagnostic equipment needed in the Emergency Department of the Pemberton Health Care Centre — equipment that directly benefits everyone in the valley.
Your participation in the Walk for Wellness goes beyond the trail. Every registration helps bring that goal closer.

Join us for the Liam and Riva Fund Launch on Saturday, June 6th, at 7 pm at the Downtown Community Barn in Pemberton.
Riva and Liam Fisher were proud champions of the Pemberton Valley and its communities. Riva was generous, spirited and committed to bringing people together.
