Pemberton is for Flower-Lovers: Where to Find Stunning Blooms
Tucked into the mountains of British Columbia, just north of Whistler, Pemberton is a destination where farmland, fresh air, and alpine views come together in full colour. As the snow melts from the valley floor, fields begin to wake up and flowers take centre stage.
From early spring daffodils to late-summer bouquets, Pemberton offers one of the most unique flower experiences in British Columbia. Whether it is wandering through fields, picking your own stems, or discovering a roadside bouquet, this is where to find stunning blooms.
Spring’s First Colour
Flower season begins earlier than many expect. By mid-April, the valley is already waking up. Nature can never be predicted, so these blooms could come mid or late April depending on our Spring conditions.
At North Arm Farm, bright yellow daffodils are one of the first signs of life after winter. Bright bursts of yellow beneath Mt Currie make for a beautiful view. Grab some farm-made goods, an ice cream and relax on the family-run farm.
Nearby, The Beer Farmers welcome spring with vibrant tulips that bring a burst of colour to the valley. Rows of vivid colour line the farm looking down towards Mt Currie. It’s a sight to behold and not something to be missted,
These early blooms mark the beginning of the season and invite visitors to get outside and take it all in. But, they don’t last for very long so make sure to follow along their socials to stay tuned for when they begin to bloom.
Fresh-Cut Flowers All Summer Long
One of the most wonderful things about our town is the many farmstands dotted around the Valleys. It’s one of the best ways to explore Pemberton as you journey around the farms and see what beautiful things are being grown. Pemberton has an abundance of flower farmers growing a kaleidoscope of blooms that you can take home - there’s no excuse not to bring home a bouquet for your loved one here!
