Step Back in Time at Pemberton & District Museum & Archives

History lovers will appreciate a visit to Pemberton Museum, where you can explore historic buildings, artefacts, and stories that helped shape the Pemberton Valley. Admission is by donation, making it one of the most affordable activities in town. Wander through preserved pioneer buildings, farming exhibits and photographs that showcase the area’s First Nations, gold rush and farming heritage.

Pick Fresh Berries & Visit Farm Animals at North Arm Farm

A trip to North Arm Farm is one of the quintessential Pemberton summer experiences. Seasonal U-Pick berries offer a fun and affordable outing for families, couples and road-trippers alike. Strawberries arrive in June-July, blueberries in July-September, and then Pumpkins in October. Follow them on Instagram to stay updated on when seasonal produce is available for picking.

Ride World-Class Mountain Bike Trails

Popular routes include classics like Valley Loop (Green), Happy Trail (Blue) and Lumpy’s Epic (Black Diamond). If you’re using local trails, visitors are encouraged to support the trail networks through donations to the Pemberton Valley Trails Association (PVTA) and the Pemberton Off-Road Cycling Association (PORCA), whose volunteers help maintain the incredible riding experience.

Downtown Pemberton is home to colourful murals that celebrate local history, agriculture, wildlife and mountain culture. A mural walk is a free and easy way to explore the village while discovering hidden corners and snapping some great photos along the way.

Each stop offers something different, and many operate on an honesty-box system, making it easy to build your own farm-fresh picnic while supporting local growers.

Go Walking or Hiking in the Pemberton Valley

Some of the best experiences in Pemberton simply require a good pair of shoes. Pemberton is home to incredible to cruisey walks around our local natural features and extraordinary backcountry treks. Do your research on All Trails to determine what advanced hikes you’re ready for. For some close-by favourites, try:

Nairn Falls: A family-friendly trail leading to a powerful, unique waterfall tucked within lush forest. An easy 2.7km out-and-back trail along the river.

Lumpy’s Epic: A favourite among locals and bikers alike, the 7.6km advanced loop takes you up One Mile Hill to give a great view of Green River winding below Mt Currie.

Gord’s Garden: Part of the grand Sea to Sky Trail, this 7km each way route takes you through old-growth forest, alongside the Green River and through a boulder field from a prehistoric landslide.

Cool Creek Canyon: An adventurous and steep trail with dramatic canyon views and rushing water. The 3.5km loop takes you directly up the mountain, gaining 350m elevation in each half.

One Mile Lake Loop: The boardwalk loop is currently closed for repairs, howver you can do a nice cruise to the other side of the lake and back.

Warm summer days are best spent on the water. Bring your own paddleboard, kayak or inflatable and enjoy a lake day surrounded by mountains.

Visit The Beer Farmers For Seasonal Blooms

Even if you’re not stopping for a drink, the property itself is worth visiting throughout the year. In spring, tulip fields brighten the farm with vibrant colour. August brings towering sunflowers, while October transforms the property into a classic autumn pumpkin patch experience.

It’s one of the most photogenic seasonal stops in the valley and a great addition to a farm day in Pemberton.

Experience Slow Food Cycle Sunday

One of the most beloved annual events in the Sea to Sky corridor, Slow Food Cycle Sunday returns on August 16, 2026. The event invites cyclists to pedal through Pemberton Meadows while stopping at farms for food, music and community experiences along the route.

While tickets are required for the full event experience, the atmosphere throughout the valley makes it one of the most unique and affordable summer events in British Columbia.
