Meager Hot springs is closed indefinitely due to a large debris flow event at Capricorn Creek in October 2009.

100th Anniversary of the Railway

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the Rail which arrived in Pemberton Oct 29th, 1914. The museum is celebrating this important historical anniversary with everyone. The Celebrations include: Transportation Exhibit – opening August-Sept Celebration Day - On August 23rd 2014 from 11am-4pm, at the Pemberton Museum. This will be fun-filled day of FREE music, activities for families and children and a Mini Rail ($1/Ride). This will be a unique experience for local residents and tourists to celebrate the arrival of the rail.
