2015 NIMBY fifty Marathon XC MTB Race
The NIMBY fifty mountain bike race in Pemberton is back for yet another year of hardcore riding!
The race is approximately 37 km in length, boasting a lung busting 101 switchback long pristine single-track climb. This is not your typical XC race. The NIMBY fifty is what is referred to as a technical marathon xc bike race which means it is absolutely loaded with incredible single track.
Space will be limited to 420 riders. Online registration will open on February 15th, 2015. Visit the NIMBY fifty registration page for full details. There are no cancellations and no refunds on registration fees.
NOTE: Information noted below was valid for the 2014 race. We expect that this information is valid for 2015 but please check the NIMBY fifty website for full details!
11:00 AM. Racers can "line up" wherever they would like. There will be an area cordoned off at the front of the start chute for pro/elite riders.
The race will go rain or shine. The weather in Pemberton can be considerably warmer than the coast. If it's 20 Celsius in Vancouver, it's completely feasible that it could be 30 Celsius in Pemberton. So plan ahead, stay hydrated and bring lots of water!
