100th Anniversary of the Railway in Pemberton

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the Rail which arrived in Pemberton Oct 29th, 1914. The museum is celebrating this important historical anniversary with everyone. The Celebrations include:
- Transportation Exhibit – opening August to September.
- Celebration Day - On August 23rd 2014 from 11 AM to 4 PM, at the Pemberton Museum. This will be fun-filled day of FREE music, activities for families and children and a Mini Rail ($1/Ride). This will be a unique experience for local residents and tourists to celebrate the arrival of the rail.
A small portion of Prospect Street will be closed from 6am to 6pm on Saturday August 23rd from the 1st entrance of Napa lot for the 100th Anniversary Celebrations at the museum. Access and Exit for local traffic will be via Frontier Street to the North end of Prospect Street. The 1st entrance at Napa will still be accessible and Expedition Station Residents will not be impacted. The street will remain open to pedestrian traffic.
