Christmas at Big Sky Community Festival

Location: Big Sky Golf & Country Club, Pemberton
"Christmas at Big Sky" is a not-for-profit, fun, three day Christmas festival organized by a group of Pemberton mothers who want to create long-lasting members of Christmas in Pemberton. The event is hosted at Big Sky Golf & Country Club.
The festival runs from Friday December 18 to Sunday December 20, 2009.
Festival activities include:
- ice skating on the lake (weather dependent)
- cross-country skiing around the Big Sky greens (weather dependent)
- horse-drawn sleight rides out to a large bonfire with hot chocolate and roasted marshmellows
- local choirs, soloists and musicians
- local vendors - last minute "Buy Pemberton" Christmas gifts
- children's art & craft table and face painting
- special guest appearance from Grinch, Santa's elves, etc.
- Big Sky menu serving snacks, lunch & dinner
- daily door prizes and free give-aways
- nativity scene - "The Christmas Story"
- Saturday night "Holiday Masquerade Party" with local DJ entertainment, fire-spinngers, secret Santa and drink specials (adult only)
- cinnamon bun Sunday - with fresh Pemberton coffee & sticky cinnamon buns
- closing ceremonies with Santa, "Night Before Christmas", and Christmas carols
- fireworks display
