The Pemberton Valley Lodge has recently opened a new 'Local Artisan Corner' in their main lobby. The Artisan Corner will feature a wide range of artwork from a number of local Pemberton artists. At the Artisan Corner, you can find art pieces ranging from paintings, sculptures, photography, pottery, stained glass and carvings.

This is a great opportunity for local artists to showcase their work and for visitors and Lodge guests to check out some local Pemberton art. Pemberton has long had a thriving art community and the Artisan corner is a chance together a number of local artists under one roof. The Artisan Corner is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week and can be viewed in the Pemberton Valley Lodge main lobby.

Featured Local Artists | Judy Bourhis

Judy BourhisJudy Bourhis has been creating stained glass pieces in the Pemberton area for the past 35 years. Based out of Birken, BC Judy is a long-time resident of the Pemberton area. Judy takes much of her inspiration from her natural surroundings and world travels. Many of Judy's pieces are inspired by the natural landscapes surrounding Pemberton, but there's no subject matter Judy can't create. Judy creates custom pieces for order and for fun!

Custom made stained glass pieces take great patience and experience. Judy's handcraft pieces can take anywhere from one week to a month to finish. Several factors go into creating a finished piece including the light factor, glass composite, placement and of course size. While the process is often tedious Judy takes great pride in her work and continues to ship one-of-a-kind pieces all over the world for clients. You can find pieces from Judy Bourhis along with several other local artists in the Pemberton Valley Lodge's Artisan Corner.
