Community Barn Frame Complete

Construction on Pemberton's new community barn frame has recently been completed. A big ol' combined effort from the Timber Framers Guild and local volunteers has resulted in the near completion of the project with only the roof remaining.
Once again we would like to extend a big thanks to everyone who helped participate in the community barn project. This includes the 50 some Timber Framers Guild members who led construction on the barn, volunteers who helped feed and house the TFG members and the number of local volunteers who donated their time, equipment and supplies towards the project. Also we can't forget to send out a huge thanks to the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation for their donation of $240,000 towards the project.
Check out some cool pictures of the nearly completed structure provided by Dave Steers. Only the roof remains before the structure is complete. Construction on the roof is currently underway with local volunteers leading the project.
