A little background on the Timber Framer's Guild

The Timber Framers Guild is an organization based out of the United States that organizes volunteers who come together to build non-profit construction projects for communities across the US and Canada. As of right now some 50 volunteers have made their way up to Pemberton to help construct our community barn. Most of them are experienced carpenters well versed in timber-frame construction with others learning valuable skills along the way. The community of Pemberton would like to extend a great many thanks to this organization for helping bring our community barn to life.

More thanks

We would also like to send out a big thanks to the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation for their extremely generous donation of $240,000. The WB Foundation has helped partner with several Pemberton community projects in the past and we continue to thank them for their contributions to the community.

And last but not least we would like to thank the members of the community. Several local businesses and patrons have donated supplies, materials and labour to move this project forward. As well many families and community members have opened up their homes to help house and feed the visiting Timber Framers. A big thanks to members of the community. Without your help this wouldn’t be possible.
