2013 Two Acre Shaker

Pemberton's biggest party is back for its 7th year when the Two Acre Shaker takes over the Mount Currie Rodeo Grounds on Saturday, August 17. What originally started out as an extravagant backyard party has transformed into a festival like event every summer.

Fourteen musical acts will be performing at this year's event beginning at 12PM Saturday and powering right on through until 5AM the next day.

Tickets

You can still grab tickets for $50 at the following locations; Pemberton Bike Co (Pemberton, B.C), Evolution (Whistler, B.C), Stunt Wood (Squamish, B.C), Sitka Vancouver (Vancouver, B.C).

Once tickets have been sold out at the aforementioned ticket vendors you can still grab tickets on the day of the Shaker for $60 at the Mount Currie Rodeo Grounds.

Alcohol

The two acre shaker will be serving adult beverages for purchase during the event. New regulations however prevent people from bringing in their own beverages into the dance stage area. Campers are welcome to bring in their own beverages to the camping area however they must finish them or leave them in the camping area before they enter the Shaker dance area. Security will be on site making sure these regulations are followed.

Location / Shuttle

Due to the massive growth of the shaker in the past few years the event has taken up new digs at the Mount Currie Rodeo Grounds in Mount Currie. The Shaker is now located about a 10 minute drive from the town centre of Pemberton. People who need a ride to the Shaker grounds from Pemberton can catch a $2 shuttle from the Pemberton Greyhound Station to Mount Currie starting at 6PM. The shuttles will leave the Greyhound Station every hour on the hour from 6PM - 6AM.

Camping

Camping is available for those who wish to camp over night on the Shaker grounds. For only $5 you can set up a tent or park you're R.V in the designated camping area. Campers will have access to clean running water, toilets and hand washing stations.

Parking

Parking is included in your Shaker ticket and is available on the Rodeo Grounds.
