Canada Day? How About a Week!
Canada Day in Pemberton has always been a grand celebration, and this year is no exception. The whole town is going to celebrate our nation's anniversary by holding week-long festivities for the whole family, beginning on June 24.
We'll see various events sprinkled throughout the week leading up to Canada Day. Come on out to the to the Pemberton Chamber & Rotary Golf Tournament and show off your golf skills on Monday, June 24. On Tuesday, the Pemberton Museum will be holding their annual Strawberry Tea event Drop by the museum for a wonderful cup of tea and mouth watering slice of shortcake topped with strawberries. Friday, we’ll make our way over to the Pemberton Community Centre and enjoy a fine showing of outstanding canines at the Dog Show. Saturday is all about the Bike Relay and Volleyball Tournament at the Community Centre as well. And finally…
Canada Day Itself
The “main event,” Canada Day itself on July 1, will be accompanied by Pemberton traditional parade (11am, Portage Road) and a myriad of other events. Be sure to bring your camera! There will be plenty of opportunities to record your great Canada Day memories.
