Family Picking up GarbageJoin us Sunday, April 21 for the Community Pitch-In Project. Members of the community are encouraged to come out and help clean up Pemberton. Bags will be handed out at the Rotary tent located outside of the community Centre.

Once you have signed up and picked up your bags you will choose an area of town where you would like to help clean up. People can choose to pick up garbage and recycling in their neighbourhoods, near their schools or in town, anywhere you want help clean up will be most appreciated.

Sign up for the Pitch-In Project takes place at the Rotary tent located in front of the Community Centre. The official time of the project is from 9AM to 1PM, however people can participate whenever they wish. At 1PM there will be a small after party at the Community Centre. Everyone who signed up for the event will have a chance to win draw prizes.

The Pitch-In project also asks anyone with an old or new bike they are no longer using to please donate it to the Bikes for Africa Project. This project sends deserving African nation’s bicycles which help to make huge differences in their communities.
