Pemberton Agriculture This Autumn
Posted on Monday, September 20, 2010
Pemberton has an amazing history of agriculture, and this time of year hosts a ton of fun for the whole family.
Pemberton Farmer's Market
Have you been hitting up the Pemberton Farmers Market every Wednesday between 4 to 7 p.m.? If not you should soon, it is only open for three more weeks, ending on October 6th. Meet us at the Pemberton Valley Super Market parking lot.
But there is more to Pemberton's agriculture than the weekly Farmer's Market. North Arm Farm is a weekly contributor who also hosts a variety of events on their own farm property.
October Festitivies

Here are a few of their activities and services to inspire you for the upcoming October festivities of Thanks Giving and Hallowe'en.
Beginning on Friday, October 1st they will host Pumpkin Patch Wagon Rides every weekend in October. It costs $2 per person, and you are taken to the pumpkin patch in a horse drawn wagon to pick your own pumpkin.
On Sunday, October 17th they host their 3rd annual Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off. Last years winning pumpkin weighed 890 lbs!
The North Arm Farm is open daily between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until October 31st. Feel free to drop by and check out their large variety of organic produce and baked goods. If you need directions or details call 604-894-5379.
Be sure to take advantage these and other fun Pemberton events this season.
