Tourism Pemberton Launches New Website

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 24, 2009 – Tourism Pemberton’s website, www.tourismpembertonbc.com, makes its debut today.  The site is a portal where visitors can discover the abundance of activities, accommodation providers, sights, as well as festivals and events which the Pemberton Valley has to offer.   The website will include a media section including story ideas, video and images to engage media on the distinctiveness of the area.

Roy McClean, of Custom Fit Communications Group, developed the website.  Roy is a long time Pemberton resident and created Custom Fit in 1995.  He has been featured on CBC Radio One’s “The Current”.

Tourism Pemberton’s website will grow and expand over the next few months with the addition of stories, images, blogs and local news and event listings.

The website will be an invaluable community resource before, during and after the Olympics.  The Olympic Torch is just 134 days from coming to our community; on February 6th, but already sparks have started to ignite enthusiasm over the opportunity of introducing Pemberton to those who haven’t yet discovered its beauty and uniqueness.
