Lisa RichardsonLisa Richardson - Lapsed lawyer, aspiring yogi, freelance writer and occasional PR hack: Lisa knew she'd found her happy place in Pemberton when a cowboy rode past and asked "which way to the beach?" Spotlighting local eccentricity for 5 years as CBC's community reporter, Richardson juggles magazine deadlines, tries to get enough time skiing, mountain biking and rock climbing, to keep pace with her neighbours and figures she will be truly free of her suburban upbringing when she is canning her own vegetables. First, she has to learn to grow them.

Katherine FawcettKatherine Fawcett is an award-winning freelance and creative writer who enjoys the trails, the fertile soil, and the eccentric, generous and high-spirited people of Pemberton. She is the authour of a children's book about dogsledding called Mushkid: A Tale of Dogsledding, Friendship and Drool, and co-authour of A Whistler Bear Story, due to be released in December 2009. Fawcett has won numerous literary awards for her short fiction and creative nonfiction, and has contributed to magazines and newspapers across Canada. She lives with her husband, two children and a gang of sled dogs just outside of Pemberton.

Natalie LangmannNatalie Langmann is a third-generation editor and free-lance writer and is currently managing editor to Canada’s newest snowboard magazine: King Snow Magazine. When she's not out riding pow—with over a decade and a half of Whistler seasons under her belt—she can be found holding the pen while staring out at the ever-so-majestic Mt. Currie from her home office in Pemberton.
